By downloading, installing, or using FreshFridge ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
FreshFridge is an AI-powered kitchen management application that helps users track food inventory, manage shopping lists, scan receipts, generate recipes, and reduce food waste. The App may use AI and third-party services to provide these features.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update it as necessary. You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. **Login Services:** FreshFridge offers email-based account creation as our primary login method. When you create an account using email: • We collect only your name and email address for account authentication • Your email address is kept private and is not shared with third parties • We do not collect app usage data for advertising purposes without your explicit consent • You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through Account settings
FreshFridge offers free and paid subscription plans: • **Premium Plan** — $4.99 per month • **Pro Plan** — $9.99 per month **Billing & Renewal:** Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price. **Managing & Cancelling:** You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until then. **Free Trial:** If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the free trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription. **Refunds:** No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods unless required by applicable law. To request a refund, contact Apple Support directly. **Price Changes:** We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We collect and process personal data including your email address, food inventory data, shopping history, and receipt information to provide the App's features. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. **Data Collection Principles:** • Account creation requires only your name and email address • Your email address remains private and is never shared with advertisers or third parties • App usage data is collected solely for improving app functionality, not for advertising • We do not track your interactions across other apps or websites • Receipt images and food data are processed using AI services to extract relevant information • You have full control over your data and may request deletion at any time through Account settings By using the App, you consent to this data processing.
The App uses artificial intelligence to generate recipe suggestions, analyse receipts, and provide nutritional guidance. This content is provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional dietary, medical, or nutritional advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have health conditions or allergies.
FreshFridge provides expiry date tracking and food safety alerts as a convenience feature only. The App's alerts are based on the information you provide and general guidelines — they do not replace your own judgment. Always inspect food before consumption. FreshFridge is not liable for any illness or harm resulting from the consumption of food tracked in the App.
When you share a fridge with family members, you acknowledge that other members will have access to the shared inventory, shopping list, and activity feed. You are responsible for only sharing access with trusted individuals. FreshFridge is not responsible for any disputes arising from shared fridge access.
You agree not to misuse the App, including but not limited to: attempting to gain unauthorised access to other users' data, using the App for any unlawful purpose, uploading harmful or inappropriate content, or attempting to reverse engineer the App or its services.
All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of FreshFridge and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FreshFridge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
